What is Fully Drawn Yarn

Polyester Full Stretch Yarn (PFSY) has the ability to stretch or elongate up to a certain percentage of its original length. This property is achieved through a special texturizing process, which involves crimping or curling the yarn to create spaces between the fibers.

During the texturizing process, the polyester yarn is passed through a heated zone, where it is subjected to a combination of heat, pressure, and mechanical forces. This causes the yarn to shrink and crimp, creating more spaces between the fibers and increasing the bulkiness of the yarn. The resulting PFSY yarn has a soft and fluffy texture and can stretch up to 30% to 40% of its original length.

PFSY yarns are commonly used in the production of stretch fabrics, including sportswear, swimwear, and lingerie. The stretchiness of the yarn allows the fabric to fit snugly and comfortably to the body without losing its shape or support.
